As technology rapidly evolves, private copying systems face growing pressure to stay relevant and effective. Throughout the presentation, we will explore the true value of private copying today, drawing on recent collection data from Slovenia and across Europe.
Key challenges include outdated tariffs, the rise of cloud services and refurbished products, and the need to align systems with modern consumer behaviour.
The discussion will focus on three priorities: strengthening CMO consensus, driving continuous research, and improving collection systems.

An active musician and member of influential Slovenian groups such as Laibach and Dan D. With thousands of live performances and numerous recordings, he has also collaborated on theatrical and film productions. Actively involved in the music business, he has worked with leading local artists across the region. A lecturer, adviser to several businesses, and mentor to generations of local musicians.
