Elizabeth has served as Chief Executive Officer of ADAMI since Septembre 2024, becoming the first woman to hold this position since the organisation was founded.
Founded in 1955, ADAMI is a collective management organisation that represents and defends the rights of performers in music and audiovisual. It manages the rights of more than 100,000 artists in France and worldwide.
Before joining ADAMI, Elizabeth Le Hot held several senior positions at the French Ministry of Culture, notably within the Directorate-General for Media and Cultural Industries (DGMIC), where she served first as Head of Department and later as Deputy Director-General. She also spent six years at the National Centre for Cinema and the Moving Image (CNC), where she played an active role in promoting cultural diversity in international negotiations.
Her career also includes ministerial cabinet positions focusing on women’s rights and child protection.
A graduate of Sciences Po Lyon, ESSEC Business School and the French National School of Administration (ENA), she is widely recognised for her expertise in cultural policy, copyright and neighbouring rights, as well as the digital transformation of cultural industries.
Committed to innovation issues, she also led a cultural start-up specialising in NFTs and was commissioned by the French Ministry of Culture to write a report on artificial intelligence.
In recognition of her commitment to artistic creation and performers’ rights, Elizabeth Le Hot was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters.
Elizabeth was elected to the Board of SCAPR during the 51st General Assembly held in 2026.
