ABRAMUS (BRAZIL)
Roberto Correa de Mello, lawyer, graduated from the University of São Paulo in 1977; Assistant Professor of Commercial Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC) Training Course of Business at the University of Louvain la Neuve, Belgium. He is holder of the law firm Mello Advogados Associados SC, founded in 1952; was Member of the National Copyright Council, under the Ministry of Culture, by appointment of President José Sarney, until their extinction.
Founder and CEO of ABRAMUS – Brazilian Association for Music and Arts; President of AUTVIS – Brazilian Association of Visual Arts; President of ABDA – Brazilian Association of Copyrights; Board Member of the Committee of Dramatic Authors, Literary and Audiovisual as well as Board Member of the Committee of Visual Arts both organizations of CISAC (International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers); President of National Committee of Culture and Authors Rights.
He has been elected to the Board of SCAPR during the 47th General Assembly held in June 2022, in Rome, Italy.
